Jete: Around the Hills

This pleasant hike starts in the small village of Jete, located in the Río Verde valley, just inland from Almuñécar. Jete is a charming Andalusian village surrounded by mountains, avocado groves, and citrus trees, offering a peaceful rural atmosphere before we even begin walking.

The route takes us through the surrounding hills, with beautiful panoramic views of the valley and nearby peaks. Although there are a few climbs along the way, the hike mostly follows well-maintained roads and 4x4 tracks, making it accessible to most hikers who enjoy a relaxed yet scenic walk.
