Terms and Conditions

By joining a hike, you agree to these terms.
🏖️ During the summer period, we do not organize hikes. We usually resume at the beginning of September. Please note if you go by yourself, temperatures above ☀️ 25°C (77°F) make a hike more strenuous than usual. Read more about the risks here.

Declaration of Voluntary Participation and Liability Waiver

I expressly, freely and voluntarily declare, under my own responsibility and with full awareness, the following:

  1. That I participate voluntarily and entirely at my own risk in the mentioned activity, and I release the organizers from any liability or claim arising from my participation.
  2. That I am fully aware of the nature and characteristics of the activity, including route length, technical and physical requirements, necessary equipment, elevation gain, and recommended fitness level.
  3. That I acknowledge the inherent risks of mountain and hiking activities, including accidents, falls, and physical injuries, and that I will exercise due caution, remain alert to potential dangers, and strictly follow the organizers’ instructions.
  4. That I am physically and mentally fit to participate, and I do not suffer from any condition that would endanger my health or life during the activity.
  5. That I will respect and follow the organizers’ instructions and rules.
  6. That I understand I should not participate if the activity exceeds my limits, and that withdrawing mid-activity is not always possible and may even be more dangerous than continuing.
  7. That I am responsible for bringing suitable personal equipment and protective gear.
  8. That I will not leave the group or deviate from the route without prior consent. If I do so, I end my participation in the activity and proceed entirely at my own initiative and risk, with no expectation or claim towards the organizers.
  9. That if I lose contact with the group or arrive late at a meeting point, I will inform the organizers. If I fail to do so, the organizers are free to act at their own discretion, including contacting emergency services or a family contact.
  10. That I understand the organizers are not obliged to wait for or retrieve anyone who becomes separated from the group; I must return on my own.
  11. That I accept the route, times, or meeting points may be changed by the organizers due to circumstances, and that no communication is required for those who are not complying with instructions.
  12. That I will respect public and private property and take responsibility for any damage I may cause.
  13. That I will respect the rights of others in accordance with applicable law.
  14. That I am responsible for any minors, persons in my care, or animals I bring.
  15. That I acknowledge the guides are volunteers acting without any contractual obligation.
  16. That I have been informed of the need for personal accident and civil liability insurance, or a valid membership with the Spanish Mountaineering Federation.
  17. That I give permission for the use of photos and videos in which I may appear, for publication on websites or social media, provided they are not offensive or harmful.
  18. That all information I provide is accurate, and I will promptly report any relevant changes during the activity.
  19. That I understand this activity does not establish any legal or contractual relationship between myself and the organizers.
  20. That I waive any right to claim compensation or take legal action against the organizers or other participants, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
  21. That I confirm that I have read the page “How to Hike”.
  22. That I have read, understood and fully agree with this declaration before participating.
