🏖️ During the summer period, we do not organize hikes. We usually resume at the beginning of September. Please note if you go by yourself, temperatures above ☀️ 25°C (77°F) make a hike more strenuous than usual. Read more about the risks here.

We start this scenic hike just outside the beautiful white village of Ítrabo. The route first leads us into the surrounding hills, with stunning views over the valley and the Mediterranean Sea. Along the way, we pass through orchards filled with avocados, mangos, and citrus trees, giving the hike a distinctly Andalusian feel.

About halfway through the route, we reach the “Ermita de Bodíjar,” a peaceful chapel surrounded by nature. It’s the perfect place to rest and enjoy lunch while admiring the wide-open views of the mountains and valleys. The chapel is a local landmark and adds a cultural touch to this nature-filled walk.

After our break, we descend back toward Ítrabo, walking through the village’s quiet streets before returning to the starting point. Although there are a few climbs, the paths are all wide and well-maintained, making this a pleasant and manageable hike with plenty of charm and variety.
