🏖️ During the summer period, we do not organize hikes. We usually resume at the beginning of September. Please note if you go by yourself, temperatures above ☀️ 25°C (77°F) make a hike more strenuous than usual. Read more about the risks here.

This beautiful hike starts in Gúajar Fondón, a quiet white village surrounded by the rugged mountains of Los Guájares. The area is full of history and natural beauty, offering a perfect mix of culture and adventure. As we leave the village, the trail begins to climb gradually, revealing more and more of the dramatic landscape around us.

One of the highlights of the hike is the visit to El Castillejo, the ruins of an ancient Moorish fortress that once guarded the valley. From this point, the panoramic views are breathtaking, you can see the surrounding mountains, valleys, and even the distant Mediterranean Sea. Standing among the old stones, it’s easy to imagine what life was like centuries ago when this castle overlooked the region.

After exploring the ruins, we continue the route toward Gúajar Faragüit, walking through scenic hills and peaceful countryside. The path can be adapted for those who prefer to avoid the steeper sections, though this may mean a short wait along the route. It’s a hike full of variety, history, and unforgettable views.
