Vélez de Benaudalla: Puente de Rufino sobre el Rio Guadalfeo y Iglesia Nuestra Señora Del Rosario

This hike begins in Vélez de Benaudalla, a charming village in the Guadalfeo valley. We start by crossing the Rufino Bridge over the Guadalfeo River and then head north into the mountains, where stunning views of the dam and surrounding landscape await.

The route returns to the river, following its course for a while, and, if water levels allow, we cross through it. The area is lush, filled with trees and Mediterranean vegetation, offering a refreshing and scenic walk.

The hike finishes back in Vélez de Benaudalla, where there’s an opportunity to enjoy a drink together before heading back to the car.
