Just outside the centre of Salobreña we begin this varied hike that takes us along the coast, through history and past beautiful viewpoints. As we head towards the sea, the white houses of the town and the impressive silhouette of the castle remain in view. Along the way we enjoy wonderful panoramas over the Mediterranean and the coastline of the Costa Tropical.
Passing through the charming area of La Caleta, we reach the beach of El Caletón. The atmosphere of an old fishing neighbourhood can still be felt here, with small boats, rocky coves and waves breaking along the shore. The contrast between the deep blue sea, the rocks and the white buildings makes this part of the route especially picturesque.
The final part of the hike brings us back towards Salobreña, where the castle rises high above the town. As we make our way upward, the views become more and more impressive, stretching across the sea and the surrounding coastline. A beautiful ending to a hike where sea, culture and Andalusian charm come together.
