This pleasant and easy hike begins in Salobreña, starting on less scenic paths through the outskirts of the town. After some initial walking, the route opens up with more beautiful views of the coast and surrounding countryside, making the second half far more enjoyable. The hike is a little over 14 km but mostly flat, so it’s accessible for most walkers.

About halfway through, there is the option to explore the Cueva del Capitán, a fascinating cave along the route. Bring a flashlight if you want to venture inside and see its intriguing formations. The surrounding landscape from this point onward provides peaceful scenery and a relaxing walking experience.

The route continues toward Lobres and loops back to Salobreña, passing through charming countryside and small local paths. This hike is perfect for those looking for a longer, scenic walk without significant climbs, offering nature, light adventure, and coastal views.
