🏖️ During the summer period, we do not organize hikes. We usually resume at the beginning of September. Please note if you go by yourself, temperatures above ☀️ 25°C (77°F) make a hike more strenuous than usual. Read more about the risks here.

This delightful hike begins in the scenic area around Pinos del Valle, a charming village nestled in the fertile valley along the Río Guadalfeo. We start by climbing to a viewpoint, where we are immediately rewarded with beautiful vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The fresh air and peaceful surroundings set the tone for a memorable hike.

From the viewpoint, we continue to Pinos del Valle itself, walking through its picturesque streets and experiencing the local charm. The route then leads us to the Ermita Cristo del Zapato, a small chapel perched above the valley. Here we take a break for lunch while enjoying panoramic views that stretch across the valley and nearby mountains.

After lunch, we descend partly along the same path and continue along a different trail back toward Pinos, completing a varied loop. The final section retraces the initial path, with the option at the end to visit the nearby dam, adding a serene and scenic conclusion to this enjoyable hike.
