🏖️ During the summer period, we do not organize hikes. We usually resume at the beginning of September. Please note if you go by yourself, temperatures above ☀️ 25°C (77°F) make a hike more strenuous than usual. Read more about the risks here.

This fascinating hike starts in the mountains behind Ótivar and Ítrabo and takes us into a unique and varied landscape. As we set off, we gradually descend, enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding peaks and valleys that make this route both scenic and adventurous.

Along the way, we reach a remarkable ruin that is partly built into a shallow cave, adding a touch of mystery and history to the hike. From here, we continue towards a dam by a lake, where we usually take a relaxing lunch break while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

After lunch, the route leads us to the Cascada de los Árboles Petrificados, a unique waterfall formed by petrified trees, followed by a visit to a nearby shallow cave. Bringing a flashlight is recommended if you want to explore inside. The final part of the hike takes us back up, first with a steeper climb and then more gradually, until we return to the starting point, completing a memorable mountain adventure.
