Maro: Cortijo Rufino, Nacimiento de Maro, The Well Walk

This pleasant and relatively easy hike starts in the charming village of Maro. The route follows a circular trail that gradually climbs into the nearby mountains, offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and the coast.

Along the way, we reach the Nacimiento de Maro, the source of the Maro River, a peaceful and scenic spot perfect for a short rest. The fresh mountain air and gentle surroundings make this part of the hike particularly enjoyable.

On the way back, we pass a location known as “The Well,” where hikers can collect fresh mountain water. The loop then returns to Maro, completing a relaxed and refreshing hike that is suitable for most participants and ideal for enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
