This short but stunning hike begins by climbing the mountain near Cantarriján, offering breathtaking views of the beach and surrounding mountains. The trail then leads us to Cerro Caleta, a scenic viewpoint that gives a wide perspective of the coastline and the natural beauty of the area.
From there, we continue toward the Ermita de San Judas Tadeo, a small chapel that adds a cultural touch to the hike. The path then descends to Playa Cañuelo, a pristine beach where we can pause and enjoy the scenery, listen to the waves, or take a short break before heading back.
On the way back to Cantarriján, the route passes several old ruins that hint at the history of the region. Although short in distance, this hike is full of variety, combining mountain paths, coastal views, cultural spots, and historic remnants, making it a truly memorable walk.
