This adventurous hike starts from a recreational area near Guájar-Faragüit. From there, we follow the Río Toba upstream towards the white village of Guájar-Faragüit, nestled among the green hills and deep valleys of the Guájares. Along the way, we venture further into the valley, with the river and surrounding landscape providing the backdrop.

The Río Toba is a mountain stream that flows through the valley, taking us past rocks, small rapids and lush vegetation. We follow the river both there and back, walking through the water for most of the route. Wet feet are therefore guaranteed, so good water shoes or sturdy footwear that can get wet are definitely recommended.

As we often do during the warmer months, we get right into the water on this hike. The flowing river makes the route pleasant even on hot days and provides a natural way to cool down along the way. A unique and adventurous route where we experience the Río Toba up close and the water is an important part of the adventure.
