Frigiliana: Lomas de la Garza, Lomas del Chillar, Cruz de Félix, Cruz de Pinto

This impressive hike starts in the beautiful white village of Frigiliana and quickly takes us into the surrounding mountains. We begin by following the Río Higuerón riverbed, surrounded by rugged cliffs and Mediterranean vegetation. The path gradually climbs, offering ever-changing views of the valley and the sparkling sea in the distance.

Along the route, we pass several local peaks such as Lomas de la Garza and Lomas del Chillar, leading us to two crosses, Cruz de Félix and Cruz de Pinto, both offering stunning panoramic views. Near one of the summits, we’ll also find a small chapel, a peaceful spot to pause and enjoy the scenery overlooking Frigiliana and the coast.

This hike is ideal for experienced hikers who enjoy a good challenge. The climbs are demanding, but the rewards are immense, sweeping views, quiet mountain paths, and the unique feeling of being far from everything while still close to one of Andalusia’s most charming villages.
