🏖️ During the summer period, we do not organize hikes. We usually resume at the beginning of September. Please note if you go by yourself, temperatures above ☀️ 25°C (77°F) make a hike more strenuous than usual. Read more about the risks here.

This hike starts in Algarrobo, a coastal village with charming streets and traditional Andalusian architecture. Most of the route follows regular roads, which are not particularly scenic, but it provides a straightforward path toward the destination.

The highlight of the hike is the Bentomiz Castle ruins, perched on a hill with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the coast. Exploring the castle and its ruins offers a glimpse into the region’s rich history and makes the walk worthwhile.

The return route brings us back to Algarrobo, completing a circular hike that combines village charm with a historical adventure in the hills.
