Declaration of Voluntary Participation and Liability Waiver
I expressly, freely and voluntarily declare, under my own responsibility and with full awareness, the following:
That I participate voluntarily and entirely at my own risk in the mentioned activity, and I release the organizers from any liability or claim arising from my participation.
That I am fully aware of the nature and characteristics of the activity, including route length, technical and physical requirements, necessary equipment, elevation gain, and recommended fitness level.
That I acknowledge the inherent risks of mountain and hiking activities, including accidents, falls, and physical injuries, and that I will exercise due caution, remain alert to potential dangers, and strictly follow the organizers’ instructions.
That I am physically and mentally fit to participate, and I do not suffer from any condition that would endanger my health or life during the activity.
That I will respect and follow the organizers’ instructions and rules.
That I understand I should not participate if the activity exceeds my limits, and that withdrawing mid-activity is not always possible and may even be more dangerous than continuing.
That I am responsible for bringing suitable personal equipment and protective gear.
That I will not leave the group or deviate from the route without prior consent. If I do so, I end my participation in the activity and proceed entirely at my own initiative and risk, with no expectation or claim towards the organizers.
That if I lose contact with the group or arrive late at a meeting point, I will inform the organizers. If I fail to do so, the organizers are free to act at their own discretion, including contacting emergency services or a family contact.
That I understand the organizers are not obliged to wait for or retrieve anyone who becomes separated from the group; I must return on my own.
That I accept the route, times, or meeting points may be changed by the organizers due to circumstances, and that no communication is required for those who are not complying with instructions.
That I will respect public and private property and take responsibility for any damage I may cause.
That I will respect the rights of others in accordance with applicable law.
That I am responsible for any minors, persons in my care, or animals I bring.
That I acknowledge the guides are volunteers acting without any contractual obligation.
That I have been informed of the need for personal accident and civil liability insurance, or a valid membership with the Spanish Mountaineering Federation.
That I give permission for the use of photos and videos in which I may appear, for publication on websites or social media, provided they are not offensive or harmful.
That all information I provide is accurate, and I will promptly report any relevant changes during the activity.
That I understand this activity does not establish any legal or contractual relationship between myself and the organizers.
That I waive any right to claim compensation or take legal action against the organizers or other participants, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
That I have read, understood and fully agree with this declaration before participating.
Términos y Condiciones
Declaración de Participación Voluntaria y Exención de Responsabilidad
Declaro de forma expresa, libre y voluntaria, bajo mi propia responsabilidad y con pleno conocimiento, lo siguiente:
Que participo en esta actividad de forma voluntaria y bajo mi propio riesgo, eximiendo a los organizadores de cualquier responsabilidad o reclamación derivada de mi participación.
Que conozco plenamente la naturaleza y características de la actividad, incluyendo la longitud de la ruta, exigencias técnicas y físicas, material necesario, desniveles acumulados y nivel físico recomendado.
Que reconozco los riesgos inherentes de las actividades de montaña y senderismo, incluidos accidentes, caídas y lesiones físicas, y que actuaré con la debida precaución, me mantendré alerta ante posibles peligros y seguiré estrictamente las instrucciones de la organización.
Que estoy física y mentalmente capacitado para participar, y que no padezco ninguna condición que pueda poner en riesgo mi salud o vida durante la actividad.
Que respetaré y seguiré las normas e indicaciones de los organizadores.
Que entiendo que no debo participar si la actividad supera mis límites, y que abandonar durante la misma no siempre es posible y puede ser incluso más peligroso que continuar.
Que soy responsable de llevar el equipo personal y de protección adecuado para la actividad.
Que no me apartaré del grupo ni me desviaré de la ruta sin autorización previa. Si lo hago, doy por terminada mi participación en la actividad y actúo por mi cuenta y riesgo, sin expectativa ni reclamación hacia los organizadores.
Que si me separo del grupo o llego tarde al punto de encuentro, informaré a los organizadores. Si no lo hago, ellos podrán actuar según su criterio, incluyendo contactar con servicios de emergencia o con un familiar.
Que comprendo que los organizadores no están obligados a esperar ni recoger a quien se separe del grupo; deberé regresar por mis propios medios.
Que acepto que los organizadores pueden modificar rutas, horarios o puntos de encuentro debido a circunstancias, sin obligación de comunicarlo a quienes no siguen las indicaciones.
Que respetaré la propiedad pública y privada, siendo responsable de los daños que pueda causar.
Que respetaré los derechos de los demás conforme a la legislación vigente.
Que soy responsable de los menores, personas a mi cargo o animales que me acompañen.
Que reconozco que los guías son voluntarios y no tienen ninguna obligación contractual.
Que he sido informado de la necesidad de tener seguro personal de accidentes y responsabilidad civil, o estar federado en la Federación Española de Deportes de Montaña y Escalada.
Que autorizo el uso de imágenes o grabaciones en las que pueda aparecer, para su publicación en sitios web o redes sociales, siempre que no sean ofensivas o perjudiciales.
Que toda la información que proporciono es veraz, y me comprometo a comunicar cualquier cambio relevante durante la actividad.
Que entiendo que esta actividad no establece ninguna relación legal o contractual entre los organizadores y yo.
Que renuncio a cualquier derecho a reclamar compensación o emprender acciones legales contra los organizadores u otros participantes, salvo en caso de dolo o negligencia grave.
Que he leído, comprendido y aceptado plenamente esta declaración antes de participar.
