This exciting hike starts in the village of Nigüelas and takes us along a path that is somewhat reminiscent of the Caminito del Rey in Málaga. After the initial section, we follow a river with small bridges into the mountains, walking among olive and almond trees and enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
The route includes some challenging climbs, so a certain level of experience and fitness is recommended. Along the way, the varied terrain, open mountain paths, and shaded groves make the hike both stimulating and visually rewarding. The natural beauty of the Lecrín Valley unfolds at every turn.
Eventually, we pass through the village of Acequias before returning to Nigüelas, completing a circular route full of adventure, scenery, and a sense of accomplishment. It’s a hike for those who enjoy mountains, rivers, and a mix of cultural and natural landscapes.
Esta emocionante caminata comienza en el pueblo de Nigüelas y nos lleva por un sendero que recuerda un poco al Caminito del Rey en Málaga. Tras el tramo inicial, seguimos un río con pequeños puentes adentrándonos en las montañas, caminando entre olivares y almendros y disfrutando de hermosas vistas del paisaje circundante.
La ruta incluye algunas subidas exigentes, por lo que se recomienda tener cierta experiencia y un buen nivel de condición física. A lo largo del recorrido, la variedad de terreno, los caminos abiertos de montaña y los bosques sombreados hacen que la caminata sea estimulante y visualmente gratificante. La belleza natural del Valle de Lecrín se despliega a cada paso.
