This hike starts in Nigüelas, a picturesque village in the Lecrín Valley. From the village, we head into the mountains along a route reminiscent of the Caminito del Rey in Málaga, with steep cliffs and stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. The path winds through forests, olive and almond trees, offering a mix of shade and open viewpoints.
After the initial ascent, we follow the river along small bridges, gradually making our way deeper into the mountains. The route includes some challenging climbs that require careful footing, but the views and natural beauty make it well worth the effort. Along the way, the scenery changes constantly, from lush vegetation to rocky outcrops and valleys.
The hike returns to Nigüelas via the Acequias, completing a circular route that combines adventure, nature, and beautiful vistas. This is a rewarding hike for those comfortable with moderate climbs and mountain terrain.
Esta caminata comienza en Nigüelas, un pintoresco pueblo del Valle de Lecrín. Desde el pueblo, nos adentramos en las montañas por una ruta que recuerda al Caminito del Rey en Málaga, con acantilados y vistas impresionantes de los alrededores. El sendero atraviesa bosques, olivares y almendrales, ofreciendo una combinación de sombra y miradores abiertos.
Después del ascenso inicial, seguimos el río por pequeños puentes, adentrándonos poco a poco en las montañas. La ruta incluye algunas subidas exigentes que requieren cuidado al caminar, pero las vistas y la belleza natural hacen que valga la pena. A lo largo del camino, el paisaje cambia constantemente, desde vegetación frondosa hasta rocas y valles.
La caminata regresa a Nigüelas a través de las Acequias, completando una ruta circular que combina aventura, naturaleza y vistas espectaculares. Es una caminata gratificante para quienes están cómodos con subidas moderadas y terreno montañoso.
