This scenic hike starts near Nerja (the Caves), heading first toward the Fábrica de Maro and then north along the western side of the Barranco de la Coladilla. The route soon leads into the gorge, where walkers can enjoy dramatic rock formations and the natural beauty of the area.
Through the gorge, the path gradually returns toward the coast, ending back at the parking area. The trail offers a mix of open paths and narrow sections, providing a sense of adventure while exploring this striking landscape.
Please note: at the start of the route there is quite a bit of glass in the sand, which can be harmful to dogs’ paws, so caution is advised for those bringing pets.
Esta caminata panorámica comienza cerca de Nerja (las Cuevas), dirigiéndose primero hacia la Fábrica de Maro y luego hacia el norte por el lado occidental del Barranco de la Coladilla. Pronto el recorrido nos adentra en el barranco, donde se pueden disfrutar de formaciones rocosas impresionantes y la belleza natural del entorno.
A través del barranco, el sendero regresa poco a poco hacia la costa, terminando en el área de aparcamiento. La ruta combina tramos abiertos con secciones estrechas, ofreciendo un toque de aventura mientras se explora este paisaje singular.
Aviso: al inicio del recorrido hay bastante vidrio en la arena, que puede ser peligroso para las patas de los perros, por lo que se recomienda precaución si se lleva mascota.
