This pleasant and relatively easy hike starts in the charming village of Maro. The route follows a circular trail that gradually climbs into the nearby mountains, offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and the coast.
Along the way, we reach the Nacimiento de Maro, the source of the Maro River, a peaceful and scenic spot perfect for a short rest. The fresh mountain air and gentle surroundings make this part of the hike particularly enjoyable.
On the way back, we pass a location known as “The Well,” where hikers can collect fresh mountain water. The loop then returns to Maro, completing a relaxed and refreshing hike that is suitable for most participants and ideal for enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
Esta agradable y relativamente sencilla caminata comienza en el encantador pueblo de Maro. La ruta sigue un sendero circular que asciende suavemente por las montañas cercanas, ofreciendo vistas preciosas del paisaje y de la costa.
Durante el recorrido llegamos al Nacimiento de Maro, la fuente del río Maro, un lugar tranquilo y pintoresco ideal para hacer una breve parada. El aire fresco de la montaña y el entorno apacible hacen que esta parte de la caminata sea especialmente disfrutable.
En el camino de regreso pasamos por un lugar conocido como “El Pozo,” donde los senderistas pueden recoger agua fresca de montaña. El circuito finaliza de nuevo en Maro, completando una caminata relajante y refrescante, adecuada para la mayoría de los participantes y perfecta para disfrutar de la belleza natural de la zona.
