This demanding hike starts near Lentegí, a small and peaceful mountain village tucked away in the hills of the Costa Tropical. Soon after setting off, we leave the inhabited area behind and enter a rugged and unspoiled landscape. The route is often called The Hidden Valley for a reason: it leads through a remote area where nature, silence and wide open spaces dominate.
This is a challenging hike with significant elevation gain. We climb over peaks and descend into beautiful valleys, with the trail constantly offering new perspectives. For part of the route, we walk alongside a beautiful river flowing through the valley, creating a striking contrast with the surrounding mountain slopes. The combination of steep sections and wide panoramas makes this hike physically demanding but highly rewarding.
From the higher points, we enjoy impressive views over mountains and ravines and, on clear days, even toward the coastline. The quietness of the area enhances the sense of escape and adventure. This hike is perfect for those who enjoy a serious workout, raw nature and spectacular scenery.
Esta exigente ruta comienza en los alrededores de Lentegí, un pequeño y tranquilo pueblo de montaña escondido en las colinas de la Costa Tropical. Poco después de iniciar la caminata dejamos atrás la zona habitada y nos adentramos en un paisaje agreste y poco alterado. No es casualidad que se conozca como el Valle Escondido: es un entorno apartado donde predominan la naturaleza y el silencio.
Se trata de una ruta con bastante desnivel y numerosas subidas. Caminamos por crestas y descendemos a hermosos valles, con cambios constantes de perspectiva. Durante parte del recorrido avanzamos junto a un bonito río que atraviesa el valle, creando un contraste llamativo con las laderas que lo rodean. La combinación de esfuerzo físico y amplios panoramas hace que la experiencia sea intensa y muy gratificante.
Desde los puntos más altos disfrutamos de vistas impresionantes a montañas y barrancos y, en días despejados, incluso hacia la costa. La tranquilidad del entorno refuerza la sensación de aventura y desconexión. Es una ruta ideal para quienes buscan un reto físico en plena naturaleza y paisajes espectaculares.
