This beautiful hike takes us into the mountains toward the Pico de Lopera, a peak offering stunning panoramic views. From the summit, you can see the Río Verde winding through the valley, the plains of Zafarraya, and even the snowcapped peaks of the Sierra Nevada on a clear day.
The route is relatively easy, making it accessible to most hikers, yet the scenery makes it feel like a true mountain adventure. Walking through trails surrounded by rugged terrain and natural beauty, the hike provides a peaceful escape and plenty of photo opportunities.
We start and finish the walk at the restaurant Mesón Los Prados. Due to the higher altitude of the Pico de Lopera, be prepared for colder temperatures in the winter months, especially at the summit.
Esta hermosa caminata nos lleva a las montañas hacia el Pico de Lopera, un punto desde el cual se disfrutan vistas panorámicas impresionantes. Desde la cima se puede ver el Río Verde serpenteando por el valle, las llanuras de Zafarraya e incluso los picos nevados de la Sierra Nevada en días despejados.
La ruta es relativamente fácil, lo que la hace accesible para la mayoría de los senderistas, pero el paisaje hace que se sienta como una verdadera aventura montañosa. Caminando por senderos rodeados de terreno agreste y belleza natural, la caminata ofrece un escape tranquilo y muchas oportunidades para fotografías.
Comenzamos y terminamos la caminata en el restaurante Mesón Los Prados. Debido a la altitud del Pico de Lopera, es recomendable estar preparado para temperaturas más frías durante los meses de invierno, especialmente en la cima.
