This hike starts just outside Dúrcal, a charming town in the Guadalfeo valley known for its traditional streets and picturesque plazas. From the outskirts, we head toward the Río Dúrcal, where the trail begins to reveal waterfalls, pools, and lush scenery.
Walking along the river, we encounter the Cascada de los Bolos and other natural highlights. While we won’t be in the water all the time, some sections require wading, so expect wet feet. The path also offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills and the valley below.
The route finishes back near Dúrcal, with the option to drive three minutes to a nearby campsite for a refreshing drink afterward. Note about the meeting point: stay on the main road when heading to the parking area, even if Google Maps suggests an alternative, as smaller roads are not suitable for all vehicles.
Esta caminata comienza justo fuera de Dúrcal, un encantador pueblo del valle del Guadalfeo conocido por sus calles tradicionales y plazas pintorescas. Desde las afueras, nos dirigimos hacia el Río Dúrcal, donde el sendero empieza a mostrar cascadas, pozas y un paisaje frondoso.
A lo largo del río, encontramos la Cascada de los Bolos y otros puntos naturales destacados. Aunque no caminaremos por el agua todo el tiempo, algunos tramos requieren vadear, así que prepárate para mojarte los pies. El sendero también ofrece hermosas vistas de las colinas circundantes y del valle.
La ruta termina de nuevo cerca de Dúrcal, con la opción de conducir tres minutos hasta un camping cercano para tomar una bebida refrescante al finalizar. Nota sobre el punto de encuentro: mantente en la carretera principal al dirigirte al aparcamiento, aunque Google Maps indique otra ruta, ya que los caminos pequeños no son adecuados para todos los vehículos.
